Amanda Wheat

Amanda Wheat is from Irvine, CA.  She was born into a water polo obsessed family and was given a cap and ball almost immediately.  At 8 years old she started playing club water polo and then went on to swim and play water polo at University High School, Irvine.  She stopped playing competitively to focus on graduating college as fast as possible with a major in Deaf Studies from Cal State Northridge. She and her husband moved to Santa Clarita in 2014 and have stayed to raise their 4 children (especially now that there is a youth water polo team!) Her dream has always been to raise a team of little water polo players so she is SUPER EXCITED for SCV Waves Water Polo and to be a part of such an awesome water polo family!
